Senior Highways Engineer

Role description:  Due to an exciting growth period in our Sydney office, we are actively looking for a Senior Highways Engineer to join our core Civil Infrastructure business unit. We are seeking enthusiastic engineers to be part of the teams delivering NSW's latest road, infrastructure and energy projects.    Role accountabilities: Managing selected designs and teams for projects or design elements to meet budget, time- frame and quality targets   Providing technical advice to project team members whilst building and maintaining effective relationships   Working in collaboration with other design teams and disciplines to ensure the integrity and quality of the overall design of infrastructure and other land development projects;   Offering digitally innovative design solutions for our clients     Promoting and developing the technical capability of other team members    Qualifications & Experience:

You have a forward-thinking attitude and are ready to challenge yourself. You are a degree qualified engineer with experience in civil design and will come to us with:  

Relevant engineering degree with or progressing to Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation;   Experience (>7 years) in providing high-quality delivery of roads and civil related concepts and designs whilst working collaboratively with other teams Sound knowledge and experience working with local design standards including Austroads Guide to Road Design and specifications     Ability to lead, manage, mentor and develop medium scale, diverse project teams Sound understanding, or desire to progress into design management     Experience in reviewing designs in 3D software Strong stakeholder management capability through effective communication A passion for continuous improvement, quality and improving service for our clients;
