Senior HR Coordinator

SUMMARY

Under supervision, provides administrative and technical assistance in support for the human resources function, through servicing employees, managers and internal human resources partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Facilitates the onboarding process for new hires including scheduling drug screens, backgrounds, and orientation coordination. Enters data and processes new hires and other employee and manager transactions in the system of record. Acts as a resource to employees and managers on routine human resources matters via the HR Help Line, fax, and email; communicates and interprets human resource policies, procedures, and practices to leadership and employees. Maintains basic knowledge of various programs human resources supports; referring employees and specialized resources or leaders when appropriate Sorts and distributes departmental mail Assists in the administration of assigned programs. Collaborates with business partners from the human resources, payroll, safety and fleet teams to assist employees and leadership, and to support the administration of various programs and policies. Prepares reports Performs routine audits Assists in processing of departmental bills Organizes and orders departmental supplies Participates in special projects Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Associate degree in business or related field required; Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, related field desired, or equivalent experience Previous administrative support and/or data entry experience highly desired, but not required. Ability to accurately enter a high volume of data, consistently and efficiently. Strong attention to detail Ability to maintain and protect confidential information. Excellent customer service and relationship building skills; ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of individuals. Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic to proficient computer skills (MS Office)

Bilingual (Spanish) desirable, but not required.
