We are looking for a Senior HR Program Manager to drive cross-region talent initiatives as part of a Strategic Talent Programs team. As a key member of this team, you will be focused on the global AWS Industries organisation, driving the strategy and delivery of high-class talent solutions for this organisation. You will be working alongside our global and regional People, Experience and Technology (PXT) centers of excellence including Talent Development, ID&E, Builder Experience, and Talent Acquisition and act as a bridge between these teams and the AWSI HRBPs and business teams to bring talent initiatives to life. You will consult and build strong relationships with our stakeholders to understand key talent drivers while influencing decisions and direction taking local needs, variations and scalability into account.
We are looking for motivated individuals who have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, write effectively, display strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude – able to work both on a strategic and executive level as well as very practically with learners and on a program level.
Key job responsibilities
• Own, manage and drive the relationship and deliverables with AWSI stakeholders around Talent Development and Talent Management programs as part of the Talent Pillar of the organization’s business strategy.
• Dive-deep into the reality and needs of AWSI business leaders, leveraging employee sentiment, organisational health, and other relevant PXT reports and anecdotal data to drive prioritisation of talent initiatives, working backwards from defined outcomes.
• Innovate on behalf of the customer to meet current and future needs, proposing and delivering on aligned talent solutions. This includes actively seeking opportunities to experiment and improve the effectiveness of global or regional learning solutions.
• Curate Talent Development and Talent Management content to meet business needs, advising on and packaging talent solutions for PXT and business stakeholders.
• Own and deliver development or talent management programs end to end – from concept to delivery to feedback and iteration.
• Work as part of a strategic talent programs team and support key projects as they evolve.
• Support talent inspection rhythms, including talent reviews, people metrics inspection and regular business reviews.
