We are seeking a Health,\nSafety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to join the Honeywell Industrial\nAutomation (IA) team. This individual will be a member of the HSE\nLeadership Team, responsible for driving HSE continuous improvement, compliance,\nand engagement within the Smart Energy Thermal Solutions (SETS).  The role\nreports to the Sr. Director HSE.

As a Principal HSE Manager, the successful candidate must be results driven\nand able to develop strong relationships with the business leaders.  The candidate must be compliance focused and\nprovide hands-on support to projects with the ability to deploy continuous\nimprovement through a strong MOS; to drive goals, objectives, improve culture\nand behaviors.
We are looking for a strong people and process leader, capable of coaching/mentoring\nHSE professionals across a Strategic Business Group (SBG).  The individual must be a well-rounded leader\nthat can manage health, safety, and environmental programs in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and executing a compliance strategy; both Honeywell HSE Management System, and regulatory requirements.Heavy focus risk reduction through culture and behaviors initiatives.Ability to execution of the HSE vision and mission through deployment of the HSE Management System.Partner with the SBG leadership to achieve the goals and objectives.Ability to reduce the risk profile of manufacturing facilities by identifying gaps through self-assessments, audits, gembas, and agency or 3rd party inspections.Strong ability to use HOS/Lean Practices and Principles to develop, deploy and continuously improve HSE results and improve efficiencies.Support business with adequate reviews/visits/inspections to drive continuous improvement in HSE.Work in concert with Corporate HSEPS to assure consistent and effective auditing of regulatory requirements and Honeywell Level 1 and Level 2 Standards.

YOU MUST HAVE:5+ years of Environmental, Health, and Safety experience in a manufacturing environment Leadership experience. WE VALUEBachelor’s degree in environmental, safety, engineering, or related technical field.Preferred, broad knowledge of Honeywell policies, procedures, and processes.Knowledge and management experience with global aspects of HSE and SustainabilityFirm understanding of OSHA and EPA standard as well as OSHS’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP)Ability to communicate and influence decision making to all levels of the organizationStrong collaboration, program management and problem-solving skillsAbility to work autonomously to achieve organizational objectivesMature judgment and decision-making ability with strategic and tactical HSE experience
