We need someone to lead a team who provides data and insights to improve Apple's products and services, to inform strategic directions, and to improve the user experience. **Description**
You will: - Collaborate cross-functionally by partnering with analysts, data science, engineering and other teams across Maps and Apple to harness collective expertise and deliver exceptional user experiences. - Oversee the team's efforts to design guidance to collect, grade, analyze, and interpret large sets of data. - Lead the design and implementation of quality assurance protocols tailored to training data and model evaluation. - Develop and implement comprehensive human evaluation strategies and tools. - Define what high-quality data means across diverse projects and ensure these standards are met. - Drive the development of manual and automated processes for multiple concurrent projects ensuring high-quality labeled data. - Drive the execution and delivery of technical projects. - Design and conduct experiments for evaluating rater quality, inter-rater reliability. - Dive deep into both qualitative and quantitative data in order to bring forward actionable insights.

+ 5+ years of leadership and experience managing a team in a cross-functional environment
+ Extraordinary leadership, communication, and organizational skills
+ Meticulous, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
**Key Qualifications**
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 8+ years of leadership and people management experience
+ Experience with Search Relevance and Search Quality
+ Knowledge of data quality concepts, challenges, and best practices
+ Experience with AI/ML/LLM
+ Experience using crowd sourced platforms like Figure-Eight and Mechanical Turk
+ Vendor crowd management a plus

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,700 and $349,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
