Senior Human Resources Advisor
**Description** **Job Summary** The Senior Human Resources Advisor is responsible for performing a broad range of human resources activities, including providing guidance and direction to managers and divisional human resources personnel on policy, compliance, and other human resources issues. **Essential Functions** + Actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.” + Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.” + Provide guidance and direction to employees, managers, and divisional human resources personnel on a variety of policy, compliance, and other human resources issues. + Working with the Director, Human Resources, manage the development and implementation of the company’s human resources policies and procedures. + Support the company’s succession planning program and associated activities, to include conducting needs assessment, researching development opportunities, and working with employees + Oversee Affirmative Action Compliance program and associated activities + Oversee the company’s job posting and recruitment process. + Manage the company’s relocation program. + Coordinate and manage human resources-related special projects, both within the department as well as with operations and/or other support groups on broader initiatives. + Assist in conducting acquisition due diligence, as necessary. + Perform other duties and responsibilities as required. **Qualifications** + 6+ years’ experience in human resources, including experience in employee relations, compensation, HRIS, training and development, and/or recruiting and staffing. + Bachelor of Science in Business, Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent level experience. + Thorough knowledge and practical application of federal and state employment laws. + Demonstrated skill in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures. + Strong PC skills including a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and database applications. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to work effectively with personnel at all organization levels. + Ability to maintain confidentiality. + PHR certification preferred.
