About the Role
Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) supports and partners with leaders and employees across the organization to provide insights and act as a trusted advisor while serving as the HRBP for ACRT Services. This role is responsible for leading the HRBP team responsible for supporting the various operating companies including HRBPs, Specialists, and Coordinators. The Senior HRBP helps drive the overall HR strategy by providing daily HR support for leaders, managers, and employees of our various companies, including guidance in coaching, management of performance cycles, and oversight of processes/HR administration and will be responsible for enabling your direct team to do the same. Close collaboration with the various Centers of Excellence within the HR department will be required.
What You’ll Do
Lead for High Performance
Manage a team of HRBPs; offer mentorship/coaching, development discussions, and performance management to support learning and development
Enable HRBP team to lead employee investigations and to quickly and appropriately handle employee relations issues
Establish and monitor performance metrics for the team to ensure effectiveness of HRBP team and their service delivery all companies
Manage and develop team to become future Human Resources leader and to achieve department goals and objective together
Build Trust & Influence with Leadership
Build relationships with Services and Operations leaders. Be a trusted and credible partner who anticipates needs and recommends solutions.
Provide credible guidance, advice, and support.
Partner with business leaders and work with HR centers of excellence to identify organizational needs for business development, and for reaching enterprise goals.
Develop and use people metrics to provide insights that help guide decisions.
Partner with leaders to build high performing leadership teams, and coach Presidents to enhance their leadership effectiveness.
Offer Human Resources Expertise
Act as HRBP for the ACRT Services organization
Partner with business leaders to develop succession/talent planning efforts that ensure the teams have the talent needed to support their strategy.
Partner with business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development
Partner with the business to lead both annual, mid-year, and ongoing review processes which focus on performance management and talent development
Provides investigation and consultation support to business leaders addressing employee relations, employee conduct, and performance issues, including the application of company policies and employment laws
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations in partnership with Shared Services teams

About You
Must haves:
Bachelor’s Degree + 6 years progressive HR experience with at least 2 years as an HRBP + 1 year leading directing reports OR
8 years progressive HR experience with at least 4 years as an HRBP + 2 years leading direct reports
Nice to haves:
Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business + 8 years of progressive HR experience with at least 4 years as an HRBP + demonstrated experience with California law, bargained workforces + 4 years leading direct reports

Experience working collaboratively, not just across the HR team but across all people and projects.
Experience interpreting and building procedures to support multi-state Labor Laws and related local laws and regulations.

Where We Work
At ACRT Services we prefer in-person employee interaction and we rely on collaboration among groups to be successful and agile, which means we expect work in the office to continue as an important part of our company culture and a key to employee success. This position is a remote hybrid role, meaning employees will be required to come into our Stow, Ohio offices on a weekly or as needed basis.
Standard office equipment will be provided to work in the office and at home – a dedicated space at home to work is also required. Uninterrupted home-based internet is a must in your home to attend and host video calls, along with a minimum bandwidth speed of 20 mbps. If you do not have an in home office space or cannot meet the internet needs, an office space will be provided for you in the company’s Stow, Ohio office.
