About This Position

ChristianaCare is searching for a Senior HR Business Partner to be a strategic and pro-active partner with senior leaders and bring them together to drive business and talent outcomes forward through timely engagement and effective utilization of data. Ideal candidates will have proven experience partnering directly with senior leaders as well as:

Healthcare/Hospital experience working with nursing leadershipExperience building strong, advisory relationships with senior executivesExperience analyzing data and using data outcomes to drive change

Some responsibilities include.....

Drive the caregiver agenda. Plan and implement solutions aligned to both business and People strategy and goals.

Develop and execute best practices to promote caregiver engagement and enable a successful workforce to contribute to the company's strategic goals.

Build an engaging environment by partnering with other Business Partners and HR COEs to develop, implement, and communicate programs aligned with goals for benefits and rewards, performance management, engagement, retention, and other identified programs.

Assess client organizational health on a regular basis and design appropriate interventions. Develop caregiver strategies and design approaches to diagnose and enhance organizational effectiveness focusing on a tangible business outcomes and caregiver engagement. Find opportunities to drive improvements and efficiencies.

Advise and coach leaders on best practices and areas of improvement, ensuring an exceptional caregiver experience. Act as advisor for HR policies and procedures with a focus on unit/entity/site caregiver initiatives.

Analyze and diagnose current state operating models and team structures and team effectiveness

Find opportunities to improve cross-functional work processes, communication, collaboration, and recognition, and accountability

Leverage caregiver survey data to generate actionable insights and improve caregiver engagement

Analyze trends and metrics in people data in partnership with the appropriate HR COE to develop solutions, programs, and policies that improve caregiver engagement, performance, recruitment and/or retention

This position will be expected to travel between the three main campuses in Wilmington, Newark and Elkton on a consistant basis. More details will be discussed during the interview process.

There will be a minimum of two days required onsite with the possibility that it could exceed that based on meetings and business needs.

Minimum requirements include.....

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

Healthcare/Hospital experience working with nursing leadership is highly desired

7+ years of HR Business Partner experience in roles of increasing complexity and scope, partnering directly with senior leaders

Experience in organizational design and effectiveness, capability building and driving successful teams, executive coaching, navigating complex employee relations, and scaling an organization with high growth
