Position Description:
Ryerson has an opportunity for a Senior HR Generalist to join our Human Resources’ team responsible for our Atlantic Multi-Market. This candidate may also support other professionals based within the Regional office.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

• Coach and train leadership to drive robust performance management processes to include talent development and succession planning
• Liaise with leadership to foster performance plans as necessary
• Support Talent Acquisition strategy to drive comprehensive recruiting efforts for client groups
• Support efforts to ensure compensation and payroll activities are facilitated effectively
• Utilize HRIS data analysis to advise the business of critical trends while helping develop actionable plans as necessary
• Lead and assist as necessary in the investigation of and proper disposition of associate concerns
• Generalist responsibilities with the ability to act both strategically and tactically.
• Previews employment actions to identify and mitigate risk before decisions are made
