Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $77,800.00 - $116,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The Senior Human Resources Generalist supports the Network & Digital team for Cox Communications.   They serve as a fully proficient individual contributor business partner and provide tactical, logistical, administrative, data management, and coordination support relating to all service delivery of people and talent programs, and processes delivered to the Network and Digital businesses.  Among services supported are:

Change Enablement support for business leaders

Strategic workforce planning and talent & succession management in support of business goals

Reports to the Sr. Manager, HRBP in support of client service delivery.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Supports assigned organizations in the provision of and/or advice to client leaders relating to various People Solutions teams and processes.

Assists with consultation to business managers / teams on less complex or routine People Solutions matters.

Partners to implement People Solutions changes to processes and policies.

Advises employees and managers on the application of various People Solutions policies and regulatory requirements, and programs for the implementation of people programs.

Supports HRBP teams in providing strategic and operational advice and partnership to senior leaders in designing and delivering people initiatives and strategies that attract, develop, and retain top talent, and through strategic analysis and actionable reporting on key trends and talent metrics.

Collaborates with HRBPs and leaders to execute on prioritized strategic people priorities and solutions that accelerate the achievement of business priorities through talent management, diversity and inclusion, rewards and recognition, and organizational effectiveness.

Partners with People Analytics team in assembling data that yields key analytics and turns insights into clear, actionable storytelling to consult with and advise leaders on talent actions and priorities aligned with business goals.

Supports implementation of policies, programs, tools, and analytical processes to recommend/enhance people processes and organizational designs.

Contributes to people initiatives and strategies as requested across Cox Communications and our other divisions.

Supports implementation of talent and performance management and annual compensation planning process, consulting with leadership and partnering with People Solutions’ compensation experts to ensure successful implementation.

Assembles and creates presentations to aid HRBP and leaders synthesize people data to advise leaders on key talent strategies.

Supports change initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and desired outcomes.

Helps support and champion a talent and development mindset.

Proactively works with clients and People Solutions COEs to clarify current and anticipated workforce capability gaps and how those gaps may be closed.

Reviews external data and trends and provides relevant insight back into the business and creates winning solutions to keep the business ahead of the competition.

Partners with People Solutions Centers of Excellence and business partners to deploy policies, programs, tools and analytical processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (i.e., Human Resources, Business, etc.) and 4 years’ experience in a related field (i.e. Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, etc.). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field in lieu of a degree.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Excellent collaborative, interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with teams at all levels of the organization.

Excellent prioritization skills and ability to continually reassess and reprioritize real-time in alignment with business priorities and evolving workforce and talent needs.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to story tell with data.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree.

Experience with Smart Sheets.

Experience in telecommunications industry.

PHR/SPHR certification.
