Senior Human Resources Generalist

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Partner with supervisors to ensure the attendance policy is being followed and executed in a regular & timely manner. Advise & coach supervisory staff on attendance-related issues and disciplinary steps in accordance with the respective Attendance Policy Partner with supervisors to issue disciplinary actionsKnowledgeable of wage and hour compliance laws for various states. Companywide management of the companies - attendance point management, creating tracking, reporting, and delivering on action planning metrics. Provide training to all locations on Rest & Meal break laws and practices. Track, compile and monitor 7th working day volunteer sheet under State guidelines (CA only)Data analysis regarding attendance, attendance points, Rest & Mealtime, attestationPrepares reports and recommends action plans to combat to tardiness, absenteeism, and turnoverDevelop and maintain attendance KPIs per locationPartner with HR managers to identify attendance-related trends and develop applicable actions plans Compile and retain a monthly record of absenteeism stats and metrics Develop & maintain Monthly Operations Review absenteeism metrics & statsProvide HR support to the HR team as needed – i.e., backup support for onboarding, training, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 

Must have a high standard of business and personal integrity and be able to always maintain professionalism and confidentiality.Thorough knowledge of current US and California labor lawsMust demonstrate acceptable written/oral communication and people skills with the ability to interact with all levels of plant operations.Must be detail-oriented, and results driven and able to work independentlyMust have ability to multi-task and take direction from more than one person and be a team playerFlexible to working off schedules to meet with employees and supervisors that work various shifts throughout the organization.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree required4 years Human Resources Experience preferred Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to develop spreadsheets with mathematical formulas and graphing. Previous experience with Workday, ADP, and/or Kronos is a plusBilingual

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00
