You have strong relationship-building skills, able to collaborate at all levels to effectively implement HR initiatives. POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions with a focus on employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing consultation and coaching regarding workplace issues, policies and procedures, compliance, compensation, and performance management. + Conduct HR investigations regarding workplace issues, determine root cause analysis, engage with Director and/or legal partners as needed to mitigate risk, ensure thorough and complete documentation, and prepare recommendations for resolution. + Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. + Facilitate the performance management process; consult with managers on corrective actions and performance improvement plans (PIPs) for underperforming employees. + Identify training needs and individual coaching needs. + Collaborate with the Learning & Development Manager in the implementation and monitoring of employee training programs to ensure training objectives are met. + Assist with the development and execution of surveys and strategies to enhance employee engagement, morale, and productivity. Help to create a positive work environment where employees feel valued, connected to the company's goals, and motivated to contribute their best work. + Assist with tracking employee survey results and discuss any gaps with the HR Director, Practice Manager and Manager of Learning & Development. + Take ownership of improving the employee life cycle from onboarding new hires to maintaining employee satisfaction and retention. + Analyze business trends and metrics including data on retention to develop strategies that will improve the employee experience. + During periods of high volume, assist the Talent team and department leaders with recruiting, background checks, offer letters and onboarding. + Participate in a rotation of facilitating new hire orientation along with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and HR Generalist. + Ensure accuracy of data in the HRIS system and prepare regular and ad hoc reports. + Prepare miscellaneous employment letters and agreements. + Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements. + Maintain required postings for assigned business groups in compliance with federal and state regulations. + Assist Director of HR with various research/special projects. + Recommend new ideas, approaches and procedures to enhance the efficiency and value of the HR department. + Perform other related duties as required and assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: + Knowledge of federal and state employment laws as well as HR best practices. + Must possess a high level of interpersonal skill to manage various personalities and handle sensitive, confidential situations. + Ability to maintain a professional, balanced, and impartial perspective. + Ability to earn trust and maintain positive, professional relationships while striving to strengthen a culture of inclusion. + Accuracy with data and attention to detail in composing, typing and proofreading various materials. + Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. + Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Intermediate Excel skills highly preferred. Must have experience with Word, Powerpoint and other MS office suite. Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems. + Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: + Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and related experience. + 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, minimum 2 years in a senior role, with an emphasis in employee relations. + Previous experience in healthcare preferred.
