Senior Human Resources Generalist/Business Partner
The Senior HR Generalist/Business Partner role acts as a strategic advisor and change agent, working collaboratively with the region to help plan and execute all of the human capital elements of our business strategy. The Sr. HR Generalist/Business Partner is responsible for a wide range of tasks related to the Human Resources management function. This includes serving as the point person for HR related issues and inquiries from managers and employees.
The ideal candidate for this position should have excellent organizational, project management and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of HR operations. They will also need experience with HR systems (ideally Workday) and Microsoft Office applications.
Provide Human Resources support with the ability to demonstrate required skills in critical thinking, influence, problem solving, change management, project and program management, training and skill development.Serve as the main point of contact for general HR inquiries including but not limited to policies, employee data, benefits, HR systems and providing top-notch support to our employees and business leaders.Employee relations and advocacy- Advise managers and employees to resolve employee relations issues including coaching, researching/investigating situations and recommending business driven, proactive, and inclusive solutions.Address business challenges by presenting data driven recommendations through the use of reports and metrics. Coordinates and facilitates employee on-boarding and off-boardingMergers and Acquisitions – Support M&A activities as needed.Engagement – Support and drive local initiatives and identify opportunities to build on our thriving community at HUB. Coordinate local engagement events such as Employee Appreciation Day and our Annual Holiday Party.System administration and updates – Update and review the HRIS platform (Workday) and other systems to ensure data is accurate and that employee changes are approved and processed efficiently and in a timely manner. Follow through promptly on employee and leader requests and inquiries.WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
You are perfect for this opportunity if you:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field required.5-7+ years of Human Resources experience in an internal client facing role. Preferably insurance industry knowledge and experience.Possess current knowledge of legal trends, regulatory changes, best practices in HR, talent management and employment law.Ability to develop positive relationships with all levels of the organization (executive to front line) and be seen as a trusted business partner for all HR needs.Customer service focused: the ability to communicate consistently and clearly, respond with empathy and professionalism, and manage expectations.Comfortable leading and participating in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Excellent organizational skills, and very high attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines without compromising quality.Excellent time management with a high sense of urgency and a proven ability to meet deadlines.The ability to maintain confidentiality and use the utmost discretion and use sound judgement in sensitive situations.Proficient in using HR systems and tools, developing and facilitating presentations, and comfortable with public speaking.Be a positive ambassador for the company and promote good-will in the region and the organization.WHY CHOOSE HUB?:
