**The role you’ll contribute:**
With a focus on data integrity, productivity, and customer service, the Senior HR Specialist is an individual contributor who performs a wide variety of functions within HR focusing on workforce management transactions and works closely with other members of the Shared Services team to ensure data changes are completed accurately and in a way to prevent negative impacts to system functionality. In addition, this individual serves as an escalation path to analyze and resolve more complex problems and serves as a partner to HR Business Partners and managers as needed. The Senior Specialist works on special projects as assigned by the HR Administration Supervisor and Manager. The HR Administration Senior Specialist also supports standard employee data management transactions, employment verification, and document management responsibilities as the workload necessitates.

+ Accountable for monitoring the age of the transactions/documents in queue to prioritize and self-assign and effectively prioritize work across the assigned operational areas
+ Serve as primary support for call and case escalations from Employee Contact Center to research and resolve as needed
+ Provide escalation assistance and coverage by working a rotating schedule during the standard HRSS operating hours
+ Serve as a subject matter expert resource to teammates to assist with questions and escalations
+ Research complex and non-routine issues escalated through calls and cases to determine action for resolution
+ Serve as point of contact for facility re-organization requests and complete the research and evaluation required to determine and execute the data changes to accurately meet the outcomes desired with minimal negative impact to end users
+ Liaise with facility HR to effectively research and complete manual hire/transfers and physician hire activities
+ Evaluate re-organization requests and establish a plan to make position adjustments/create positions in a manner that achieves the desired outcome with minimal negative impact, communicating with requester, IT, and facility HR
+ Research escalated issues related to position management to determine the root cause, impact on other systems/team, and corrections needed, following with making recommendations for resolution and completing changes as needed
+ Collaborate with HR Business Partners to validate and obtain approval for out-of-process transaction requests
+ Serve as subject matter expert for form-driven data changes, including downstream impacts of data changes, supporting documentation for changes, and evaluating and resolving conflicts related to the data change requested
+ Follow case management standards in the case management tool to maintain appropriate documentation of actions and escalates cases to appropriate functional team or supervisor for assistance when needed
+ Ensure mass changes and transactions meet service, productivity, performance, and operational level agreements
+ Completes transactional compensation related transactions as per facility policies and ensures all service agreements are maintained.
+ Collaborate with Compensation COE on requests that require further Compensation review
+ Review and process form related Compensation transactions
+ Review, implement and upload pay changes related to certification/education pay
Qualifications
**The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:**
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED** **:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in relevant experience
+ Two years of experience in human resources, employee record management preferred
+ Knowledge of human resource related areas of compliance, including federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare/industry specific regulations
+ Human Capital Management (HCM) experience
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:**
+ Diversified experience in human resources field or in a generalist role
+ Two years’ experience as an HR Administration Specialist or similar position within AH Shared Services
