About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior ICT Engineer to be responsible for deployment of WeWork IT, AV & security infrastructure. In this role, you will:
Deliver IT/AV & Security projects for WeWork locations.
Confirm IT/AV & Security requirements for projects and ensure all design is to latest product/technical standards and identify site/project specific requirements
Work cross functionally to drive larger scale technology infrastructure projects with internal stakeholders within Technology, Development, Operations, Security and Real Estate.
Budget projects to latest Building Technology standards
Procure services as required for Cabling, IT, AV, Security, ISP & Cellular services as required for projects
Review vendor quotes for BOM/Service accuracy and price comparison/value for money
Room Readiness checklist completion. IT Closets ready for rack installs, second fix works for all disciplines in comms rooms
Create, maintain & communicate project plans & RAID logs as well as Punch Lists & Vendor Quality/Standards Adherence
Works closely with the Technology Design and Development teams to ensure project scope and timelines are coordinated
Supporting of planning and implementation of capital improvement projects and hardware refreshes, ensuring budgets are maintained and standards are kept
Investigate new partnerships and ensure no risks to the business with gaps in coverage or diversity of competition
Ensure all legal documentation relating to vendors is completed, signed by appropriate stakeholders and safely filed
Ensure all tendering and appointing is done in line with WeWork Policy and drives competition and value for money
Ensure WeWork Technology standards are followed
Review tenders and price comparison for large scale projects
Technology related construction management & escalation including reports and failures
Work with global team to roll out new processes & standards
Champion Building Technology Standards and identify and suggest improvements for future iterations
Ensure smooth handover of documentation & runbooks to Technology Operations and Security teams.
About You
Does the below sound like you? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Information Technology
Technical subject matter expert in at least two of: Cabling, Active IT/Network, Audio-Visual, Security
Experience in having direct responsibility for producing coordinated Low Voltage and / or Telecommunications construction documents
Broad knowledge of low voltage infrastructure, structured cabling and coordination strategy with focus on telecommunications and / or audio visual design
Have extensive experience of programme management and construction project delivery
Proficiency in reading and interpreting floor plans and technical drawings and specifications
Understanding of the design and construction of IT Closets, MDF and Electrical Equipment Rooms
Experience in project completion and turnover for low voltage systems
Understanding of network architecture and information security compliance
Habitually thinking outside the box and exploring new ways to execute projects
Gets happy and excited that no two days are the same & loves working with numerous people day to day
Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay: $135,000 to $155,000 annually
Incentive Compensation: WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.
