Senior ICT Supporter - Full Time - Allschwil, Switzerland

We are looking for a/an Senior ICT Supporter to join our IT team in Allschwil, Switzerland. 

 

In this very diverse role, you will support Sulzer employees (mainly in the Allschwil site and other locations) with inquiries regarding IT faults and other IT issues using modern IT tools on site and via remote connections.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

Act as 2nd level IT support on site and remotely for all users of Sulzer Ltd, mainly in the respective region and in other regions as needed

Monitor the entire IT infrastructure (especially stationary and mobile devices on Windows as well as company-specific hardware and software, user and authorization administration with Active Directory, networks, applications, servers, Internet, O365 Admin Console, MS Teams etc.)

Management and maintenance of meeting rooms

Installation and configuration of end devices including mobile phones

Order hardware and manage the IT warehouse

Receive, analyze and process fault reports as well as service requests in 2nd level support with the help of common IT tools (e.g. ticket system, remote-access solutions)

Forward incident reports and service requests to 3rd level support, external local service providers or management whenever needed

Carry out work in accordance with ITIL standards, usually by using the company's internal ticket system and in compliance with specified service level agreements (SLA) and key performance indicators (KPI)

Collaboration and support in local and global IT projects

Oversee and support engineering software such as AutoCAD/CADWorx and CAD-Workstations

Mentor a trainee in the daily operations and learnings in this field

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

Successfully completed IT training

Experience in VIP support (preferably in a comparable company structure) and overall experience of 7 years in this field required

ITIL or Microsoft certifications (server / client / network) an advantage

Very good written and spoken English and German skills, French would be a plus

Strong customer and service orientation

Analytical, structured and problem-solving approach

Reliable and independent, but also team-oriented work

Flexibility with regard to tasks and working hours and willingness to travel occasionally
