Senior Imaging Analyst (REMOTE)

Description:The Senior Imaging Analyst will have extensive knowledge of medical imaging systems, responsible for managing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and optimizing imaging data within our healthcare facilities and their respective imaging applications, often including tasks like system administration, user training, project implementation, and collaborating with clinicians to identify and address imaging workflow issues, while ensuring data quality and compliance with regulations.

Experience with some of the following applications preferred: Change Healthcare/McKesson rPACS and cPACS, Powerscribe, Ambra, LifeImage, AS Software, Cadstream, CVi42, Heartflow, InsiteOne LTA, Laurel Bridge, Magview, Muse, MIM, PowerShare, Rad AI, Radimetrics, Rapid AI, Sensis Vibe, Syngo.via, Volpara, Xeleris and Visage PACS.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

System Management and Administration:

Managing and maintaining day-to-day support of Change Healthcare PACS and other imaging systems, including user access control, image storage, retrieval, routing, system upgrades, data backups, and system performance monitoring. Maintenance of scheduled/unscheduled hardware reboots, system upgrades, installations, and configuration changes. Monitoring system health and troubleshooting technical issues.Implementing data security protocols to safeguard patient information.Provides after-hours on-call support for the immediate resolution of critical/emergency system issues with appropriate supporting protocol in place.Works with responsible end-users to ensure downtime policies and procedures are in place, rehearsed and executed when necessary. 

Clinical Workflow Optimization:

Collaborating with radiologists and clinicians to streamline image access, access and interpretations workflowsAnalyzing usage data to identify areas for improvements and implement changesExtensive understanding of medical imaging procedures, anatomy and clinical applications.

Troubleshooting and Vendor Management:

Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues related to image acquisition, display, storage, and retrieval, often working directly with vendors for complex problems. Maintaining strong relationships with vendors.Excellent communication abilities to effectively interact with radiologists, clinicians, IT staff and vendors.

Project Leadership and Implementation:

Leading small to midsize imaging application implementation projects including system configuration, data migration testing and deployment. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration with other systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree in computer sciences, medical imaging related discipline or equivalent experience in a healthcare technical support role.Recognition by the American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII) as a Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) preferred. Other industry-related credentials also desirable.Considerable understanding of the supported digital imaging information systems and technologies and their utilization in hospital operations.Considerable understanding of imaging departmental processes, various imaging modalities and how they interface/integrate/interact with one another.In-depth knowledge of computer networking fundamentals including its components, capabilities, limitations and functions and a proven track record of excellent network troubleshooting skills.Proven track record of excellent customer service skills in a technical support role.Consistently demonstrates skill with technical problem identification, reporting, tracking, resolution and documentation with minimal supervision.Ability to identify technical and operational risks to the performance of supported imaging information systems and technologies and take proactive steps to mitigate this risk.Proven high-level competence with hands-on troubleshooting and problem remediation with personal computers, displays, peripheral devices (scanners, modems, UPSs, etc.) and other electromechanical systems.Considerable experience with the installation and support of PC operating systems, client applications and PC utilities.Proven ability interface and foster a positive working relationship with radiologists, referring physicians, imaging department associates, Clinical Engineering associates, system vendors and other external entities.Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.

Physical and Mental Requirements and Working Conditions:

This position is a remote position. Manual dexterity is needed in order to operate a keyboard.  Hearing is needed for extensive telephone and in person communications.  The environment in which the incumbent will work requires the ability to concentrate, meet deadlines, work on several projects at the same period and adapt to interruptions.  Frequent over time is required to meet deadlines.Must be able to set and organize own work priorities, and adapt to them as they change frequently.Responsible for 24x7x365 application availability and client support.
