Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Ensure daily follow up of the status of import and export shipments; Be responsible monthly analysis of the performance of freight forwarders, brokers and carriers; Notify about problems and situations that impact availability for the organization; Participate in the Continuous Improvement process for the import and export area; Be responsible monthly analysis of lead times and transit times from import and export shipments; Prepare reports monthly department performance results; Act as on cost reduction and lead time optimization. Bachelor’s degree or similar, within International Trade or alternatively have some years of experience in import and export environment is required; Outstanding skills within communication, organization, analysis and negotiation; Have knowledge on HTS classification of goods; Have knowledge on special regimes (i.e. ex-tariff, automotive regime, drawback, temporary export/import, etc.); Advanced English; Spanish (Differential).
