The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a skilled Income Tax Professional who is passionate about tax strategy, compliance, and financial reporting. In this role, you will contribute to a high-performing tax team, supporting income tax provisions (ASC 740) and compliance efforts in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Responsibilities:

Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Assist in income tax compliance activities, including provision-to-return adjustments, tax form preparation, cash payments, and coordination with external consultants.Develop and organize presentation materials and lead presentations for senior management and auditors.Guide the tax department in tax accounting mattersTax forecasting and financial modeling initiatives to aid business decision-making.Monitor and analyze legislative tax changes, providing strategic insights on potential company impacts and support modeling efforts and presentations to leadership.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance tax reporting and compliance efficiency and support long range planning.Contribute to or lead various special projects as needed, providing expertise and support to cross-functional teams.


Qualifications:

Required: 

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field OR equivalent experience.Minimum 15 years of related work experience with at least 10+ years of relevant tax experience.Strong knowledge of income tax provision (ASC 740), external reporting, forecasting, and corporate tax compliance.Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly to various stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).Reliable, detail-oriented, and accountable with strong analytical skills.


Desired:

CPA and/or master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field.Experience with Thomson Reuters OTP or other tax software.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Previous experience working with government defense contractors.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$109,800 - $241,600
