JOB DESCRIPTION:
Senior Industrial Comtroller
This role will serve as the Leader of the Industrial Controlling Team for the KBSO & KBSI sites and will manage one direct report.
The Industrial Controlling Team’s Key Responsibilities include:
Budgeting Lead the preparation of the annual budget process Develop and maintain budgets for all overhead costs (to include POH and NPOH). Conduct budget workload analysis to ensure that sufficient direct labor resources are considered and aligned with operational expectations. Calculate and manage hourly rates and indirect cost coefficients Forecasting Monitor and adjust forecasts to align with changes in operational plans. Lead the KBS formal forecasting process: 4 forecasts due in January, June, September, and November Variance Analysis Conduct in-depth variance analysis comparing actual performance against forecasts and budgets. Investigate the root causes of variances in overhead costs and/or cost recovery Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management based on variance trends. Capex Ensure that Capex expenditures are represented properly within the budgeting and forecasting processes. Serve as Finance Lead for full capex lifecycle from budgeting the Capex investment to placing assets in service Ensure compliance with Finance Policy for physical verification of fixed assets Internal Control Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with KBS Internal Controls related to Industrial Controlling Test and provide support for various controls as needed per policy
Additional requirements specific to this leadership role:
Collaborative Partnerships: Act as a strategic finance partner to other finance leaders, ensuring cohesive and aligned financial planning and reporting across all departments. Support departmental financial leaders with expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting, enabling informed decision-making. Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track Industrial Controlling performance against budget and forecast targets Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, stakeholders, and external parties as required. Tools & PMI (Post-Merger Integration) Lead the Industrial Controlling team through PMI efforts with respect to changes in tools such as Alista, ALPS, SAP/GSI, Power Query/Pivot/BI, etc General Leadership Provide ongoing coaching and professional development, helping team to grow their skill set and achieve their career goals Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment that promotes employee engagement and long-term successQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or a related field; MBA or CFA qualification is highly preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with significant exposure to overhead costs, cost recoveries, budgeting and forecasting. Expertise in financial modeling software and tools (e.g., Excel (specifically Power Query & Power Pivot), SAP, PowerBI, etc.). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into comprehensive and actionable business insights. Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
The base pay range for this role is $94,200 - $174,900 . The company reasonably expects to pay within that range, however, KB-Signaling considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
