Job Summary:

This position will lead a team of industrial and process engineers to modernize and improve our manufacturing processes. This role will collaborate with Safety, Quality, Manufacturing Operations and Research & Development to develop highly efficient manufacturing methods for new and existing product lines. The role will play a critical role in optimizing our production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of industrial engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of industrial engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, leveraging your expertise in industrial engineering principles and practices.Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven approaches to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all processes and products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations.Innovation: Drive innovation within the industrial engineering team by staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

SCOPE & IMPACT: 

This position will have a significant impact on the efficiency and productivity of our operations. This position’s leadership will drive the optimization of our production processes, leading to cost savings, improved product quality, and enhanced customer satisfaction. The role will play a key role in shaping the future of our manufacturing capabilities and ensuring our competitive edge in the industry.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering with 8-10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent3-5 years of supervisory / leadership experience.Up to 50% travel.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or LeadershipFormal Project Management experience; KT methodologyExperience with MS Office, MS Project and MS Visio application software, as well as mainframe applications.Experience with process improvement tools such as ISO 9000, Lean Manufacturing, TPS, Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5-S, VFM, RCPS, VPM, DFM and FMEA

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: May have up to eight direct reports.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Often required to sit, repetitive hand motion (such as typing), hear, listen, talk, stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb stairs, crawl reach overhead push/pull and lift up to 30 pounds. Seldom required to Climb ladders, kneel, squat, crouch, balance or lift up over 50 pounds.
