The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist - Communications Security (COMSEC) to join the Government Security group located in Mesa, AZ. This role will be responsible for ensuring Communication Security (COMSEC) compliance in support of multiple programs.
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct secure equipment (e.g., secure telephone and encryption devices) and classified keying material inventories, inspections and other COMSEC related support and oversight functions.Perform installation of secure telephone equipment (STE) and coordinate to deliver encryption device(s) and keying material to select Information Technology (IT) specialist maintaining classified networks.Maintain records and accountability of COMSEC materials site wideEnsure COMSEC materials are properly received, hand-receipted and transferredAcquire and issue materials to program personnelConduct inventories per agency policy and reports any discrepancy to government customer.Courier classified information and authors receipt for classified materials.Enforce compliance with USG COMSEC standards by team members by providing security education and training on operating procedures.Ensure Automated Information Systems Security requirements, related to COMSEC duties, are in compliance.Train personnel in COMSEC procedures and the use of related equipment.Work in an open production environment, using proper PPE and requiring the use of basic tools, and observing production facility requirements.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
4 or more years of COMSEC experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP and/or SCI3 or more years Industrial Security experienceCurrent COMSEC training certificate3 or more years of experience with COMSEC accountability softwareExperience training peers in the use of COMSEC equipment and proceduresPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience3 or more years of experience communicating with internal and external customers3 or more years of experience as a primary COMSEC CustodianExperience troubleshooting COMSEC equipmentTypical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
