Position Description

The Senior Information Architect (Sr. IA) works with stakeholders to translate organizational goals and intent into the structural program that establishes the “why” for the project. The intent of this position is to re-architect the existing www.michigan.gov portal and the subsequent 130 +/-sites under the portal. The work to be completed for this effort will be a pre-cursor to implementing a new Mi.gov CMS & hosting solution sometime in 2015. Our goal is to develop a new design as to how the content will be laid out and use that design once we implement a new CMS. The deliverables associated with this position are: Programming Phase 1.
