Senior Information Modeller

The Position

As a Senior Information Modeller, your primary responsibility will be to be the expert modeller in our business cases with the line of business. We put information at the center of solving business cases and you will be responsible to ensure we do this. You will be engaged in complete project cycles, including idea generation, model development, and deployment throughout Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls (CMC) departments.

Your main tasks could be:

Collaborating with CMC business units to structure business challenges, using the skills of information modelling that you or the team possess. Using active listening as a skill to structure a problem. Planning and driving information modelling projects, drive the engagement with business and our information modellers. Drive the consumption and adoption of the models delivered in our active metadata management tool, support other systems to consume the required models delivered in the project. Build in our prototyping and active metadata tool, including building taxonomies, ontologies, prototypes, applications, API’s & model documentation Support post project governance of the taxonomies and ontologies that line of business needs to govern.

This position offers an opportunity to gain a thorough comprehension of the organization, engage in direct communication with senior stakeholders throughout Novo Nordisk, and obtain valuable insights into project priorities in a large corporation.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

A relevant Bachelor’s degree. Around 3-5 years of experience within information modelling. Experience with IT system implementations. Experience in working with and implementing governance frameworks, especially for metadata or master data.

You have the ability to host and facilitate workshops. You are familiarized with common large enterprise systems and how to integrate them.

As a person you have strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking capabilities and are well experienced in stakeholder management and partnership building. You present, explain, and sell digital solutions and new concepts in a down-to-earth manner to those who are not experts in the field and are proficient in both spoken and written English.

 

About the department

As part of the Novo Nordisk PSQIT organisation, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture, and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a “can do” mindset.

CMC (Chemistry Manufacturing & Control) ties research and manufacturing together and scales up the production of the products. The scientist teams are vital in producing and delivering medicine to patients. We are advancing fundamental elements around data and information to meet future needs and using new technologies without compromising on the quality of our products. Active-Metadata Information modelling is a key concept in our approach to future data access.

The job is anchored in the CMC Data Foundation and PMO team. Our team consists of highly engaged colleagues with different scientific backgrounds and expertise in digital/automation project management, architecture, information modelling, and process expertise. We use a wide range of technologies based on the needs we want to solve, and we develop solutions for both non-GMP and GMP regulated processes.
