A week in the life of a Senior Information Security Analyst:

Lead the team responsible for IA posture. Assess system vulnerabilities, propose and implement risk mitigation strategies. Troubleshoot technical problems with staff. Maintain documentation of maintenance procedures carried out. Contribute to the performance and success of warfighters for a program focused on Distance Learning (DL) related technologies and systems including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) support. Serve as a lead for the team responsible for information assurance posture of networks and systems and support system certification and accreditation. Ensure appropriate controls are in place to safeguard files and vital electronic infrastructure. Lead the development of documentation to support certification of compliance to standards. Ensure equipment is maintained and operational. Assist in training staff on new technologies.
