U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Senior Information Security Engineer in Columbus, OH.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Senior Information Security Engineer position is responsible for designing, analyzing, evaluating, testing, debugging, and implementing of access controls enhancements, and reducing risk of access controls failures. The Senior Information Security Engineer requires strong analytical and technical skills and experience communication with auditors and presenting IAM controls solutions. Responsibilities include: Implement and understand Identity and Access Management Certification, access controls, accounts inventories with ownership and life cycle management, regional regulatory and approval requirements; Develop reusable prototypes and proof-of concept solutions; Lead technical aspects of Identify and Access Management solutions and leveraging processional services; Assist to create long-term strategy for the department and communicate it; Work with IT security, risk, and compliance organization to interpret policies and standards, ensuring policies and standards are properly follow by new Access Controls and Systems Accounts Inventory with Life Cycle Management solutions; Perform application development using Java and/or .Net technologies with use of Web Services APIs, JavaScript, XML, JSON, AJAZ; and Perform SQL queries development, tuning and optimization, Online Transaction Processing transaction processing and manipulating large data sets. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple Positions.
Basic Qualifications:
The qualified candidate must have at least a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering. The qualified candidate must have at least 2 years (24 months) of experience as an information security engineer, information security architect or closely related occupation.

The qualified candidate must have at least a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering. The qualified candidate must have at least 2 years (24 months) of experience as an information security engineer, information security architect or closely related occupation. The qualified candidate must have at least 2 years (24 months) of experience with all the following: Working with IAM solution design, implementation and transformation activities; Designing, developing, deploying and operating IAM solutions from conception to production; Developing rule engines to identify data control gaps across multiple systems in the IAM space; Conducting internal audits; Creating automated processes and implementing CI/CD pipelines; and utilizing the following tools/technologies: SQL, PL-SQL, RSA Aveska, Sailpoint Identity IQ, CyberArk, CA PAM, Active Directory, Visual Studio Code, SQL Server Management Studio, Docker Desktop. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. In lieu of a Master’s degree and 2 years of experience, the qualified candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering and must have at least 5 years (60 months) of experience as an information security engineer, information security architect or closely related occupation and the qualified candidate must have at least 5 years (60 months) of experience with all the following: Working with IAM solution design, implementation and transformation activities; Designing, developing, deploying and operating IAM solutions from conception to production; Developing rule engines to identify data control gaps across multiple systems in the IAM space; Conducting internal audits; Creating automated processes and implementing CI/CD pipelines; and utilizing the following tools/technologies: SQL, PL-SQL, RSA Aveska, Sailpoint Identity IQ, CyberArk, CA PAM, Active Directory, Visual Studio Code, SQL Server Management Studio, Docker Desktop.
