The Chief Technology Officer Organization’s vision is to raise the bar for technical excellence, talent, strategy, and standards across Technology. It also seeks to cultivate and foster technical innovation, as well as elevate and amplify the technical heartbeat of the organization.
Represent the Digital Workplace organization in the design, infrastructure and support of meeting technology services worldwide. Responsible for the design, build, improvement, integration and support of all infrastructure required to support the business need in this domain.
Key Responsibilities
· Primary representative for the Meeting Technology activities in the American Express NYC headquarters
· Oversees the design, implementation, and support of AV systems in NYC and select global locations
· Performs core technical aspects to supports infrastructure implementations, deployments and technologies related to Cisco Cloud Collaboration Technologies, MSFT Teams and Zoom.
· Work closely with user representatives to define, frame and bring together business needs
· Participate in the infrastructure design and selection process
· Align customer needs to the evolution of the platform product roadmap
· Handle the diagnosis and correction of infrastructure problems
· Provide internal analysis and support to ensure proper support during outages or periods of degraded system performance
· Conduct infrastructure performance and security assessments
· Support the certification and accreditation of infrastructure on customer networks
· Define processes, documentation and engineering diagrams for technical and operations support
· Prioritize, complete and lead projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines
· Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
Education & Experience
· 8+ years of experience with A/V systems analysis/programming, incorporating: design methodology, Infrastructure operations support or engineering
· Q-SYS Level 2 Certification or above
· Cisco CCNA Certification or above
· Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
Knowledge/Skills
· Cisco Cloud Collaboration Technologies:
o Hybrid Calendar
o WebEx App
o Video Conferencing (Cisco TelePresence)
o Room OS 11+
o Cloud Calling
o Control Hub Administration
o Site Service Administration
o Jabber
· VoIP Protocols such as SIP, MGCP, SCCP and H.323
· Video Devices ie. Cisco Room Series, Desk Pro
· Microsoft Exchange / Active Directory / Outlook
· Analytical skills and technical knowledge to take on service problems of moderate to high complexity
· Able to decipher VoIP, Video and Webex topologies

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
