Key Responsibilities: Architecture Design: Lead the design and architecture of infrastructure solutions, including cloud services, on-premises systems, and hybrid environments. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams, promoting best practices in infrastructure design and implementation. System Engineering: Design, deploy, and manage high-performance systems and network architectures that meet the demands of our business operations. Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including product management, DevOps, and security teams, to align infrastructure strategies with organizational objectives. Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing infrastructure to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring uptime and availability. Security Compliance: Ensure infrastructure designs meet security best practices and compliance standards, actively participating in risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and processes, facilitating knowledge sharing and operational continuity. Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and techniques to improve infrastructure capabilities. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in infrastructure architecture and engineering, with a focus on systems and network design. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNP/CCIE) are highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs. Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible).
