Job Title: Injection Molding Lead
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Injection Molding Lead for our 1st shift. In this role, you will perform duties required to assist and instruct associates involved in the setup and operation of plastic molding machines to produce quality parts. You will be responsible for organizing and leading the department in the absence of the supervisor.

ResponsibilitiesAssist, assign, and coordinate duties of plastics operators.Mount, align, and secure molds.Cycle machine to ensure proper closing of molds to produce pilot molds.Set up machines to ensure proper operation.Troubleshoot malfunctions with molds, machines, and other related equipment.Use measuring equipment and weighing scales.Work off of work orders and operating instructions.Use computer to enter data required to manage the movement of raw materials and finished goods.Essential SkillsExperience in injection mold setup and operation.Ability to troubleshoot malfunctions with molds, machines, and related equipment.Proficient in using measuring equipment and weighing scales.Strong understanding of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.Ability to apply principles to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Proficiency in applying fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, and practical algebra to practical problems.Ability to read and understand safety rules and instructions for equipment maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to write reports with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar.Effective communication skills with poise, voice control, and confidence in English.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fenton, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
