We’re looking for a proactive, creative, and independent Senior Insider Threat Analyst who thrives on challenges and enjoys digging deep to uncover insights and trends.  If you’re well-versed in insider threat analysis and have a solid understanding of the investigative process and wide range of use cases, this role is for you.  You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and integrate our security efforts, making a real impact every day.

What you’ll do:

Investigate and Analyze: Dive deep into data to research and analyze potential insider threats. Produce and share actionable insights to keep us informed. Harness Cutting Edge Tools: Use the latest technology (UAM, SIEM, DLP) to spot unusual activity, kickstart investigations, and reveal hidden patterns. Create Clarity: Develop and maintain dashboards and metrics that tell a clear story.  Ensure our data is accurate and our metrics are comprehensive. Drive Innovation: Enhance processes through automation and data-driven insights. Be the Architect: Author detailed playbooks that standardize our internal processes and make our team more efficient. Report with Precision: Prepare in-depth reports that document your investigative findings, offer actionable recommendations, and propose preventative measures. Support and Collaborate: Play a key role in supporting insider threat investigations, working hand-in-hand with your colleagues to uncover and address issues. Build Strong Relationships: Work closely with Legal, Employee Relations, Physical Security, and the leadership team to strengthen our security efforts.

What you bring:

5+ years of insider threat analysis experience. Insider Threat Knowledge: Deep understanding of insider threat detection and mitigation techniques and use cases. This includes behavioral analytics and user activity monitoring. Experience in identifying insider threat indicators, conducting insider threat investigations, and analyzing patterns of activity is essential. Analytical Skills & Investigative Mindset: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytic capabilities, including pattern recognition, anomaly detection, and ability to identify use-case specific suspicious behaviors that may be early indicators of insider threat. The ability to correlate and analyze large volumes of data from various sources is critical. Experience in gathering evidence, conducting interviews, and documenting findings in a forensically sound manner is necessary. Continuous Learning: A mindset of continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in insider threat detection and mitigation. Technical Proficiency: Experience working with enterprise data protection technologies such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), User Activity Monitoring (UAM), User Behavior Analytics (UBA), and Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB)  Experience in insider threat analysis or a similar role Extensive understanding of information security principles and effective approaches Experience/familiarity with MacOS and GSuite Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills

Though not essential, it would be great if you also possess: Prior experience on an Insider Threat/Counterintelligence Program Experience as an insider threat investigator, including conducting interviews Experience in Security Operations and/or Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) Experience light scripting or using "no code" workflow tools (e.g., Tines, etc.) Experience in the financial sector
