CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Inspector to join our Infrastructure – Construction Inspection Team at client sites located near West Palm Beach, FL and Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
YOUR IMPACTCHA provides a full complement of construction administration and inspection services to monitor, record and deliver successful projects. Our inspection team includes seasoned certified construction professionals cross-trained in design, risk management, and health and safety compliance to underscore our commitment to stringent standards. Our team understands that small details can have a big impact.
At CHA, the Senior Inspector is responsible for examining buildings, highways and streets, sewer and water systems, dams, bridges, and other structures. This individual will also inspect electrical, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR), and plumbing systems. They review building codes, local ordinances, and zoning laws, as well as approve blueprints and monitor construction sites.
The Senior Inspector is expected to be well versed in all areas of construction inspection. Although no two inspection projects are alike, inspectors will perform an initial check during the first phase of construction and follow-up inspections throughout the construction project. When the project is finished, they do a final, comprehensive inspection and provide written or oral feedback related to their findings.

REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree in Engineering Science, Construction Services or related technical field preferred.NICET Level III Highways Construction Inspection certification preferredValid Driver’s License requiredA minimum of 5 years of related construction observation experience requiredDemonstrates a good knowledge about the construction industryAbility to comprehend construction and contract documentsUnderstands and follows company standards, demonstrates knowledge of construction techniques, and able to complete most duties required on complex projectsAbility to understand and interpret client’s contractsProficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and OutlookStrong mathematics skillsGood oral and written communication skillsStrong ability to work independently and in a team environmentGood knowledge of the Company’s standards and core valuesDemonstrates a willingness to aid and teach entry level staffExtensive travel may be required SALARY RANGE:$61,000 - $78,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
