Required Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree Five (5) years’ experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements One (1) year of experience working with learning management systems Two (2) years of experience supervising employees (e.g., managing and evaluating performance of others) Preferred Qualifications Quality Matters Peer Review Certification At least one (1) year’s working experience with faculty to develop competency-based certificates and/or degree programs Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of eLearning instructional methodologies and learning theories Knowledge of different eLearning tools including learning management systems Skilled using computerized applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication Ability to adaptively perform and prioritize multiple tasks and projects seamlessly, ensuring accurate and timely completion, while exhibiting strong attention to detail and organization Ability to work extended hours, travels to other campuses as needed, and work in fast-paced environment Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Location TCC Connect Department CN eLearning Job Summary Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Senior Instructional Designer is responsible for managing the team responsible for training TCC Connect instructors, certifying TCC Connect online instructors, providing project management to online course development efforts, and collaborating with TCC Connect academic leadership and Department Chairs.
