In the role of Senior Control Systems Engineer, we'll count on you to:Perform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and proceduresIndependently coordinate the work of the control systems design team through the design development and contract document phases of a project, and assist with capturing additional control systems design and systems integration workLead the assessment and planning of control systems improvements.Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceCoordinate workload through design development and construction document phases to complete the documents on scheduleLead the development of preliminary engineering reports and Studies focused on recommending and developing solutions for facility and process control systems.Serve as Engineer of Record in responsible charge for the development of biddable and technically accurate SCADA/IC construction documents.Conduct systems integration of the IC system, including programming of PLCs/PCs and HMI customizing for various control software programsWrite and edit IC specifications, and select equipment and monitoring/control devices.Participate in joint scoping and proposal development working with clients and marketing staff.Participate in the planning and specification of applied technology solutions including instrumentation and control, advanced automation and control, artificial intelligence, Operational Technology (OT) networking, data management analytics, augmented reality, and vision control.Review electrical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplinesCoordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders, and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documentsProvide construction contract administration as neededConduct QA/QC on the work of other IC Project Engineers, IC Project Coordinators or IC Technicians as neededPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fieldKnowledge of advanced control systems topics including data management, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, network architecture

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fieldA minimum of 10 years applicable experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseDemonstrated leadership and project management skillsAutomation programming experienceExperience designing control systemsExperience managing control systems projectsKnowledge of automation hardware including but not limited to Allen-Bradley, Emerson, Foxboro, Modicon, Siemens, and GE.Knowledge of automation software including but not limited to Wonderware, iFix, FacotryTalk, VTScada, IgnitionProficiency with Microsoft Office productsExcellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are essentialAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
