Senior Integration Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a UAS Systems Integration Engineer to support our Army Engineering Group in San Diego, CA.  Under general supervision and with limited review, this position supports the Integration group within Army Aircraft Systems/Project Engineering. The role involves providing technical and project leadership with focus on developing system-level capabilities for unmanned aircraft. Key responsibilities include technical leadership, coordinating efforts across multiple engineering disciplines, and collaborating with various departments to accomplish system design, integration, and flight test.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with a team of engineers to support Army modernization roadmap and multiple modernization projects. Coordinate segments of a project and frequently interface with various teams on technical issues.Prepare and present both technical and non-technical briefings to management and stakeholders on the project’s progress, status, and plan.Coordinate and interface with customers on requirements, document findings, and communicate results to the corresponding engineering groups.Lead and support system requirements development by coordinating Subject Matter Expert (SME) inputs from various disciplines.Support System Integration Lab (SIL), Hardware in the Loop Laboratory (HILL), and Flight Test activities for hardware and software integration. Develop engineering test plans, procedures, and reports for tasks of moderate size and complexity.Leverage technical knowledge to assist engineering staff in the analysis, investigation and resolution of engineering challenges of moderate scope and complexity.Foster effective communication and collaboration with other Engineering disciplines, Program Management and subcontractors to ensure project success.Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
