Our client is a rapidly growing privately held construction and environmental services contractor that has been deeply rooted in water utilities and water distribution throughout the US for over 65 years. This role has a hybrid work schedule that may require occasional travel to other company locations.
Responsibilities include:
· Serve as the primary internal IT liaison to core business unit leaders, understanding objectives and identifying technology solutions to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
· Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Sales/Marketing, Legal, and HR business unit leaders to align IT strategies with long-term operational goals.
· Lead end-to-end customized Oracle application projects, managing scope, execution, risks, and delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
· Oversee system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements to meet evolving business needs.
· Facilitate clear communication between IT, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
· Provide regular project updates to Executive Leadership Team, reporting on status, risks, and key performance metrics.
· Assist in IT budget planning and resource management, optimizing project spending and financial reporting.
Qualifications include:
BS/BA in IT, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or a related technology field required. 10+ years of experience in IT project management, business-IT relationship management, or client service management. Oracle ERP subject matter expertise (SME) is essential. Demonstrated success managing multiple IT projects and aligning technology solutions with business needs, including efficient management of project documentation. Strong knowledge of business processes with ability to develop related technical solutions. Expertise in IT service management frameworks such as PMP and ITIL, as well as Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Functional expertise with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Sales Cloud, Oracle Financials, CPQ, web services (SOAP/REST), APIs, and other enterprise applications. Technical proficiency in Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, XML, PL/SQL, APEX, and web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation in project execution. Ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders and influence business leaders. High proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Excel, and MS Office Suite. Hands-on experience with configurations, design, and development of solutions. In-depth understanding of IT audits, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and security best practices.
