This position is responsible for conducting Investigations on behalf of the Lockheed Martin (LM) Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Business Area and includes implementation of the LM Central Investigations Team approach to RMS Investigations and related programs. Develops investigative strategy, performs thorough and prompt investigations of alleged misconduct and documents findings in written investigation reports. Conducts interviews, prepares letters and written summaries of findings. Presents investigative findings to internal adjudicating committees. Responsible for analyzing data and drawing conclusions supported by the facts. Responsible for developing and applying advanced concepts, technique, and standards related to investigations. Interfaces with counterparts and Senior Management on issues and supports functional leadership, including HR, Labor Relations, Legal, Ethics and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) organizations.
Understands relevant federal, state, and local laws as well as LM policies and procedures. Demonstrates integrity and sensitivity of diverse cultures; performs detailed work with accuracy; exercises sound judgment in safeguarding confidential and sensitive information; exercises diplomacy when dealing with people in sensitive situations. This position is geographically located in Stratford, CT primarily supporting the Sikorsky line of business within RMS. This position will support all RMS-wide Investigations as needed. Travel on short notice may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience in conducting investigations or counterintelligence, with a background in employee or labor relations, law enforcement, or related investigative fields.
-Strong proficiency in investigative report writing.
-Self-starter with demonstrated leadership skills and impeccable ethical standards.
-In-depth knowledge of legal issues related to investigations, including relevant state and federal statutes.
-Ability to interpret government policies and procedures, including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
-Excellent interviewing and organizational skills are essential.
Desired Skills:
-Conducts analysis and research on targeted vulnerabilities.
-Prepares comprehensive assessments of events based on sophisticated collection methods and open-source information.
-Develops and maintains analytical procedures to adapt to changing requirements and ensure optimal operational efficiency.
-Proficient in utilizing complex analytical tools to draw conclusions and formulate defensive responses.
-Demonstrated experience in conducting complex investigations.
-Skilled in advanced interviewing techniques.
-Experienced in developing and managing an extensive professional network.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
