Senior Intelligence Special Advisor- TS/SCI
*

Supports United States Forces Global (USFOR-G) providing multi-disciplined intelligence operations in support of global United States (US) military and government operations, including, but not limited to, all Major Commands and Combatant Commands of all military branches.  Provides global intelligence analytical reach-back in support of Department of Defense (DoD), Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) initiatives, missions, and crisis response as well as US Army Europe & Africa (USAREUR-AF) remote, CONUS-based, analytical support.

Responsibilities\:

Provide intelligence analysis related to counterterrorism, HUMINT, SIGINT, CI, specific regional issues, and targeting.  Support the Company/vendor counter- corruption vetting mission on a weekly cycle. Identify contract company/vendor linkages with Coalition Forces named objectives. Incorporate HUMINT and SIGINT analysis into weekly intelligence assessments. Work to identify bad actors accessing USFOR-G bases. Identify ways insurgents are using contracting to fund direct actions. Identify key associations that high FP risk vendors have with key political and military leaders. Produce “deep dive” comprehensive intelligence assessments on designated vendors, when assigned. Provide senior level analytical advising for military and DOD civilian analysts. Conduct All-source intelligence research on companies/vendors going through the USFOR-G vendor vetting process to determine if the vendors should be upgraded from Low or Medium FP risk level to High risk level. Manage (submit and track) RFIs on companies/vendors. Produce intelligence assessments on companies/vendors. Advise military or DoD civilian analysts on threat activities that affect the force protection of the installation by monitoring available threat reports. Research, develop, and present post-graduate level intelligence products at the operational and strategic levels for senior leadership.  Analyze cultural, religious, political, geopolitical, military/social/behavioral science, perspectives on governance and development.  Assist with the resolution of difficult and complex analytical problems. Interact with General Officer (GO), Senior Executive Service (SES), and Ministerial level officials. Brief GO/SES level officials on companies/vendors that pose a force protection risk to coalition installations. Advise USFOR-G and TAAC/TF GO/SES level officials on company/vendor vetting procedures. Brief relevant company/vendor threat information at daily unit J2 meetings. Advise/inform/educate GO/SES level officials from the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) on USFOR-G company/vendor vetting procedures. Maintain situational awareness of Commander USFOR-G policies. Advise /TF Commanders on internal and external threats from companies/vendors that provide products or services to coalition forces installations including companies/vendors which pose a high FP risk to coalition forces personnel and installations.  Advise Commander on internal threats from vendor employees who have access to coalition forces installations. Advise USFOR-G elements on vendors which pose a high FP risk to coalition forces personnel and installations.

Proficiency in utilizing advanced computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development. Minimum Education\:

Master’s Degree or at least six (6) years relevant experience or Bachelor’s Degree with ten (10) years relevant experience.

Minimum Years of Experience\:

At least ten (10) years’ experience; experience should be military experience in Military Intelligence, Strategic Intelligence, Special Operations, Area Intelligence, or Multi INTs within DoD or equivalent Government agencies such as MOS 35M Human Intelligence Collector (HUMINT Collector), or other equivalent specialty codes such as 18F Special Forces Intelligence Sergeant, 180A SF WO, USMC – 0211 Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist; 0231 Intelligence Specialist, US Navy – Navy Intelligence Specialist, USAF –1N471B Human Intelligence Specialist, 1N490 Intelligence Fusion Analyst, 7S091 – Special Investigator (SI).

Preferred\:

Master’s Degree Experience mentoring junior and mid-level Intelligence Analysts in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments. Experience working with DoD Special Operations intelligence. Language skills such as Darie, Pashto, German, or Italian. * Multiple deployment experiences to different AORs.
