Senior Intelligence Talent Acquisition Strategist
Overview SOSi is seeking a full-cycle Senior Intelligence Talent Acquisition Strategist to work in our corporate office in Reston, VA. We are looking for someone with a successful track record of creatively sourcing and recruiting highly qualified candidates, specifically in the Intelligence Community (IC). The ideal candidate will have experience identifying and closing candidates across all levels of the talent spectrum and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. The successful candidate will have a proven IC track record of full life cycle recruiting as a talent acquisition professional and possess strong collaboration skills and ability to influence hiring decisions in a highly competitive marketspace. This is a critical and unique role that will also require significant hands on proposal participation. Essential Job Duties Works with the Talent Acquisition Director, Intel Business Unit leaders, and Business Development to provide full life-cycle recruiting support. Plans and executes recruiting strategies and provides services for assigned programs. Works closely with managers to develop position specifications and fully understand requirements for open and future hiring needs. Coordinates recruiting functions such as scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, tracking candidates, and reporting on new hires to the recruiting manager and program management. Utilize a mix of targeted sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, industry-specific platforms, and networking, to identify and engage potential candidates with security clearances. Pre-screens resumes, conducts initial interviews and evaluates candidates for referrals to hiring managers Maintains recruiting documentation for tracking applicant processing. Identifies potential problems or areas for improvement and provides recommendations for solutions. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Builds effective candidate networks and strong cross-functional relationships with Hiring Managers to support the needs of the business. Supports proposal preparation by recruiting key personnel, formatting resumes, and obtaining letters of commitment from contingent hires. Maintains recruiting documentation required for OFCCP compliance. Contributes to special projects as required. Performs other duties assigned by supervisor. Minimum Requirements Active in scope TS with SCI eligibility. Minimum 5 years of Intelligence Community recruiting experience. Solid understanding of and the IC community experience and recruiting with high level clearances. Must have experience supporting Federal Government & Military contracts and customers. Possess a deep understanding of security clearance processes and a proven track record of recruiting candidates for roles requiring various levels of clearance up to a TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP). Strong network within the intelligence community, including candidates, industry organizations, and relevant contacts. Proven ability to generate a consistent pipeline of high-quality candidates within tight timelines utilizing a variety of resources including: job boards, social media, competitive intelligence, networking, and industry events. Experience with cold-calling, conducting candidate research, and targeting markets. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to speak with large groups of prospective candidates. Ability to multi-task; organize and prioritize multiple on-going projects in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications and hands-on familiarity with various recruiting sources and tools. Preferred Qualifications Retired Intelligence Analyst experience is desired, but not required. Work Environment Hybrid remote/office working environment. Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment. Non-traditional working hours, including overtime and weekends may be required. Travel and customer site visits will be required for this position.
