A design focused firm is looking for a passionate designer to join their commercial team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about design and able to manage multiple complex commercial projects throughout all phases.  

Role and responsibilities

Lead in all phases of design, from concept to completion Develop design concepts and presentation materials Coordinate with multiple consultants and contractors directly to predict and resolve any design issues  Work directly with clients to ensure satisfaction Design and construction documentation Research products and specifications Delegate work to and mentor junior staff

Key skills and experience

Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture A minimum of 6-10 years of relevant professional experience Must have hotel experience Retail, commercial, and restaurant, and public space experience is a plus Experience with all phases of design and construction Strong design, communication, and technical skills AutoCAD proficiency is required Revit & Rhino experience is a plus
