Senior Interior Designer
About this role
Role & Responsibilities  Establish project goals in collaboration with the team and client. Maintain an advanced knowledge of  materials, color trends, and furniture/fixture solutions. Review completed projects for design strengths and weaknesses to help further develop the studios design capabilities.  Teach, develop, and inspire less experienced team members; lead a team to produce a complete project document set. Direct and coordinate consultants as needed. Ensure accuracy and completion of all project related tasks. Assist in proposal and marketing efforts and presentations.  Ability to directly supervise interior designs including training, leading, planning, assigning tasks, and directing workflow. Participate in local ID/AEC relevant industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to develop business while growing a network of new clients and project pursuits in the region/market.Skills & Experience  Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited interior design program.  Must be a registered designer; NCIDQ certification required. 10-15+ years of experience in commercial design; this includes hospitality, multi-family, cultural, institutional, and workplace. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team atmosphere.  Strong understanding of current industry trends and challenges.  High-level communication and presentation skills with the ability to interface with clients, participate in interviews, and represent the design team both internally and externally. Advanced competency with required computer software including Revit, Adobe Photoshop, and/or InDesign.
