Job Description
As an Interior Designer, you will collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional teams and oversee the implementation of design concepts from conception to completion. ResponsibilitiesLead interior design concept development and take ownership of assigned projects.Mentor and guide Junior Interior Designers to foster collaboration.Assist in client meetings to understand needs and preferences.Support client presentations to communicate design concepts and gather feedback.Develop detailed space plans and furniture layouts that optimize functionality and aesthetics.Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.Lead the selection of materials, finishes, furnishings, and accessories, balancing design aesthetics with practical considerations.Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and innovative design ideas. Integrate new concepts into the firm's design processes.Produce high-quality 3D renderings and visualizations using advanced design software to present design concepts effectively.Manage small tenant improvement projects from conception to completion.Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project goals, oversee budgets, conduct site visits, and ensure design integrity during construction.Conduct site visits to oversee the implementation of design concepts, address any issues, and ensure adherence to design intent.Familiar with and responsive to the construction of administrative processes such as RFI’s, ASI’s, Submittal review and approvals.Work closely with project managers to monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.Essential Skills5+ years of experience within interior designing - project scope being multi-family, commercial, higher education, and K-12.Proficiency in Revit.Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.Proven track record of successful project management and design execution.Strong leadership and mentoring skills.Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsWillingness to learn and grow.Advanced skills in design software such as Revit.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $67000.00 - $77000.00
