Senior Internal Auditor

The Senior Internal Auditor job serves as a team member on more complex audits, working under the direction of audit leadership and management. Under minimal supervision, this job works on problems of diverse scope performing highly confidential and/or complex financial, operational and integrated audits using the organization's risk based internal auditing methodology.

Key Responsibilities and DutiesInvolved in activities such as the preparation of detailed programs for audits, the review of complex financial, operational, compliance and risk systems, processes and procedures to determine efficiency, effectiveness and alignment with internal policies, procedures, regulations and industry standards.\nDocuments the audit results which include comments on the adequacy and effectiveness of the controls and processes being audited.\nMay act as the lead expert in the group on critical business areas, processes, systems and/or regulations.\nReviews and evaluates more complex control structures to determine the adequacy of internal controls, operating efficiency and customer service.\nSelects methods and techniques for performing audits and evaluating results.\nNetworks with senior personnel within the business unit and across groups to resolve issues, gain needed information and influence outcomes. \nParticipates in discussions with senior management when communicating audit results and recommendations.\nUtilizes advanced Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of data analytics and other relevant tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Python) to perform effective and efficient audits.\nCollaborates with and leverages data analytics and information technology specialists, as appropriate, to identify and implement advanced testing methods.Educational RequirementsUniversity (Degree) PreferredWork Experience3+ Years Required; 5+ Years PreferredPhysical RequirementsPhysical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Base Pay Range: $81,000/yr. - $125,200/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
