Senior Internal Auditor
Description My client, an industry leader, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join their team. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct comprehensive audits to assess financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. + Develop and implement risk-based audit plans to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and operational processes. + Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and mitigate risks. + Collaborate with various departments to ensure the implementation of audit recommendations and best practices. + Stay current with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends to provide informed insights. + Assist in the development and maintenance of internal audit policies and procedures. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + Minimum of 5 years of auditing experience, preferably in internal audit or public accounting. + Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification is preferred. + Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey complex information. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. + Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite. + Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
