The Internal Audit group is expanding to support an increasingly dynamic Fortune 500 company. We are seeking a Senior Auditor who is looking to further develop his or her career in a rapidly growing global company. This role works closely with the controllership team and key stakeholders across multiple business units. In addition, there will be extensive learning opportunities across our many global businesses and exposure to domestic and international leaders, which can serve as a foundation for future career growth.
How will you make a difference?
The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for supporting the execution of the Global SOX program through reviewing and evaluating the design and effectiveness of the internal controls environment. The role also supports business transformation efforts. The position offers opportunities to utilize the candidate’s core competencies related to financial compliance experience by assuming a leadership role in driving process improvements within a collaborative team environment.
What do we want to know about you?
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Professional certification (CPA, CIA or similar) is preferred. The position requires a minimum of two (2) years of professional audit experience with a large public accounting firm/internal audit team (or two years of Wabtec finance experience for internal candidates)

Assist Wabtec’s compliance team with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements by assessing the design of key controls, testing control effectiveness, identifying areas of risk, and evaluating the remediation of internal control deficiencies identifiedProvide compliance and subject matter expertise to business and functional leaders to promote understanding of SOX requirements and support proposed opportunities for process improvementSupport the controllership team in the evaluation of the internal control environment for mergers and acquisitionsIdentify process improvements and educate control owners by leading training sessions and sharing best practicesOther duties and special projects as requiredYou may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.

$89,100.00-$126,900.00The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
