Senior International Tax Advisor

What we look for

 

You’ll support our UAE based growing International Tax practice with a focus on the International Tax and Transaction Services.

 

We will require individuals with a solid tax advisory background that our Tax team is currently targeting to further expand on.

 

You will be required to

proactively maintain your technical knowledge by keeping abreast of global developments in international tax landscape so that you can better advise our clients. demonstrate ability to master different areas of direct taxation as relevant for the execution of our projects – as well as proficiently interact with other service providers and client’s key stakeholders. support go-to-market as well as internal development activities and trainings.

The types of projects you’ll contribute towards may include: 

Set-up and/or re-organization of tax structures in the UAE or wider MENA region  Group structure reorganization and / or rationalisation   Review of operating models and agreements from a tax standpoint that are commonly encountered in the different type of industries when approaching tax set-up / re-organization projects. Agency Permanent Establishment risk assessment   Review of holding structure, capital structure and financing arrangements Development of tax risk management guidelines and review of governance structures from a tax standpoint.

Qualification for the Role 

Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Tax or a related field.  A minimum of 2 years of relevant international tax / direct tax advisory experience in Europe, UK or Middle East will be regarded as an element of added value to the profile considered. Strong organisational, project delivery, analytical and verbal/written communication skills  Proven track record with a leading professional services firm Strong understanding of current developments in the international tax world Prior knowledge of UAE market experience is a plus but not a must
