Senior Investment Analyst

The Portfolio Strategy and Investments team is hiring a Senior Investment Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to join a dedicated team of industry professionals with demonstrated success developing corporate strategy and managing a world-class portfolio. The Senior Investment Analyst will lead and support key portfolio investment responsibilities:

Conduct asset valuation and benchmarking of the company’s 11-million-acre timberland portfolioConduct various valuation analyses for strategic timberlands transactionsSupport monitoring of industrial timberland markets to inform portfolio strategiesCollaborate with key stakeholders to evaluate Asset Value Optimization alternativesContribute to strategic financial initiatives across various internal teams

The position will be based out of our Atlanta, GA office

The Senior Investment Analyst will lead and support key portfolio investment responsibilities:

Conduct asset valuation and benchmarking of the company’s 11-million-acre timberland portfolioConduct various valuation analyses for strategic timberlands transactionsSupport monitoring of industrial timberland markets to inform portfolio strategiesCollaborate with key stakeholders to evaluate Asset Value Optimization alternativesContribute to strategic financial initiatives across various internal teamsBS/BA in Finance, Forestry, Real Estate, or related field(s) Master’s degree or significant progress toward Master’s degree preferred3 years’ experience in valuation/strategic planning/consultingExperience with cash flow modeling to support business decisionsDemonstrated understanding of core investment and valuation methodologiesProficient in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and SQLExperience with GIS systems such as ArcGIS Self-starter who is committed to team success and works well in a high-performing environmentActs with urgency and accountable for delivering high-quality work on-timeDemonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong business analytical skills with ability to drill into detailsCritical thinker who is highly curiousCommitment to develop innovative solutions to continuously improve processes and systems

What We Offer

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $86,742 to $130,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement: Employees can enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with paid vacation for up to 3 weeks to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 hours along with paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
