We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investments team at Mercer. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Senior Investments Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for producing various investments monitoring reports for UK pension funds, which include asset allocation, performance, risk analysis, price/performance assessment and strategy updates and act as a peer reviewer and mentor for junior colleagues.
You’ll be an integral part of an exciting project, where we support our Wealth business.
You’ll work directly and daily with other Europe-based Investments colleagues.
We will count on you to:
Be part of a culture of having fun while delivering results with a high-quality standard; Produce investments monitoring reports for pension funds with quantitative and qualitative analysis and performance appraisal; Work collaboratively with other Mercer Teams by providing your Investments Technical perspective (defining methodologies, assumptions), support with client queries and leading ad-hoc projects. Contact external entities (such as asset managers) to validate customer information; Compile information and prepare analysis, evaluation and interpretation of results; Follow-up with other Mercer teams, suggesting approaches and clarifying details of reports produced; Be responsible for thorough analysis of portfolios to help stakeholders make better investment decisions; Be an agent of change constantly contributing to improve current processes; Help implement new projects that will support the team to be more efficientWhat you need to have:
Degree or Master's in Finance, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar; Proven experience in the Investments Industry (3-5 years minimum); Strong Microsoft Office skills; Fluent English level (fluency in other languages is a plus): Ease with SQL/VBA/Python will be a plus; Attention to detail is critical.What makes you stand out?
