Senior Investor Reporting Analyst Business Unit United Wholesale Mortgage Location US-MI-Pontiac  

United Wholesale Mortgage is seeking a detail oriented, analytical individual to join our team as a Senior Investor Reporting Analyst. This individual will work with multiple business units to ensure timely handling of all wires, interbank transfers of funds, opening and closing of all divisional bank accounts for UWM.  Responsible for ensuring all accounts are processed in an approved timeline and investor guidelines while minimizing financial losses and risk to UWM, Private Label Servicers and our investors.

 

This position performs a variety of high volume cash transactions, reconciliations and balancing to ensure operational excellence and ensure accuracy for all financial institutions involved while making sure all regulations and compliance are followed.  Ability to work with more complex accounting and data problems associated with Mortgage Servicing Platforms.

 

This position requires 100% on-site attendance at our Headquarters in Pontiac, MI.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Creating or approve internal bank transfers along with daily outbound wires in accordance with investor and banking guidelines Creating required FNMA, FHLMC and GNMA forms including investor required forms, security forms both internal and external along with investor profiles.Participating in various internal, external and regulatory audits. Ability to provide process overview along with providing requested information timely and professionally in an organized manner.Coordinating the opening of bank accounts at various financial institutions in accordance with investor and bank guidelines, including daily access and automatic transfer of balances. Monitoring all investor bank accounts for compliance of reconciliations and clearing of outstanding items while working with all various levels within financial institutions.Creating the monthly management reports inclusive of accrual reporting, servicing related reporting, general ledger balancing, along with divisional monthly reports. Must Have Qualifications: 

2+ years of mortgage servicing experience in investor accounting preferred2+ years of accounting or finance experience  Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred Willingness to work in a fast paced team environmentGood verbal and written communication skills with both external and internal customers of all levelsAbility to organize, prioritize and manage workload efficientlyExcellent analytical and problem solving skills. Expert skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Access and Excel (pivot tables and macros a must) THE PLACE & THE PERKS
