The Specialist will work for Emerson Automation Solutions Shared Services as Customer Facing, assuring SLA and accurate answers to customers to remove difficulties when process exceptions occur and handling the communication outside the department. This position mainly interacts with internal users and EMR Shared Services Team members. Individual capacity to handle high volume of vendor and internal requests. Process quality in this role is a key indicator to meet team operational quality and performance at level.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Provide payment status on vendor invoices into the Oracle accounting system. Proactive on issue resolution by generating tickets and trigger customer concerns on time. Prepare and distribute weekly project updates to customers. Reconcile vendor statements to invoices vouched in system and request copies of any missing invoice. Review Invoice hold reports, non-invoiced receipts report and unapproved invoices. Follow up with vendors, approvers and purchasing to remove exceptions from the system Respond promptly and thoughtfully to vendors, employee and other internal customer inquiries. Support invoice posting and troubleshooting process migrations and stabilization. Ensure non-purchase order invoices have accurate approvals by checking against a published delegation of authority document. Provide metrics and reports to supervise improvement. Collaborate proactively with vendors and peers to reduce cycle time and costs. Agree with auditors, accountants and management as needed to provide information about the department and specific issues. Seeks for continuous improvements on his area of expertise to avoid fraud and errors. Leads Governance calls with local finance. Additional duties as required.
