As a senior iOS developer at Gallup, you will work on innovative iOS technology, developing apps that help people capitalize on what they do best and that empower managers to build engaging workplaces. From creating accessible data-intensive UX-centric UI to delivering complex cross-functional features, such as notifications and in-app-purchases, you will work with the iOS mobile development team to craft efficient, innovative and rewarding user experiences.

What you will do:

Design, develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications from concept to delivery Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of iOS applications with back-end systems and APIs Implement best practices in iOS architecture and design, ensuring maintainability, scalability and performance Write clean, efficient and well-documented code, adhering to established coding standards Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing within the team Continuously monitor app performance; identify bottlenecks; and optimize for speed, memory usage and battery life Stay current with the latest advancements in iOS development and contribute to the adoption of new tools and technologies

What you need:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required Six+ years of experience in iOS development required Deep knowledge of Swift functional programming such as Combine required Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, including design patterns, architectural principles, security and software testing methodologies required Deep understanding of UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data and other iOS frameworks required Strong experience with Git, continuous integration and continuous deployment required Familiarity with the iOS tool ecosystem for development, testing, debugging and performance benchmarking required Ability to work at Gallup’s Berlin office at least two days per week required Experience with Android or cross-platform is a plus
